Starting as clinical dietitian in Hospital Fatimah Ipoh in year 2008, She move on to join Columbia Asia Management Office in year 2011 as Food Service Dietitian. Currently serving as Dietetics Manager and responsible for expanding the service in the group.
She enjoyed coaching and guiding the staff through hospital policy and standard operation procedures. She is one of the internal auditors for food service and dietetics service. Most of the Columbia Asia Hospitals are MSQH accredited, and Café Columbia are halal certified and mostly awarded with BESS by MOH. In order to ensure the competency of the staff, she regularly conducted chef workshop and in-house dietitian training on various topics based on company business needs.
The quality of inpatient meal services is one of the important components to ensure patient gets safe, hygiene and right food according to individual medical background. Hospitals aim at achieving an average <0.5% of total inpatient who rate dissatisfied with hospital inpatient food services. The target was achieved continuously over the past 2 years with implementing several improvement activities including revising the master menu structure, ensuring active interaction with inpatients, close monitoring during plating process etc.
